Benson Esuza Lumwagi is the elections coordinator. He holds a B.ed Sci. degree and is currently pursuing an Msc. Degree course in natural products chemistry.

Background
Turkana south is situated in the northern part of rift valley province. It is administratively divided into two districts namely Turkana south and Turkana east. It has five divisions; fifteen locations that are further subdivided into thirty seven Sub locations.
Turkana south covers an area of 18,621.5 Km2 . It comprises of 115 polling stations and has a total of 26,210 registered voters. This constituency borders East Pokot, Pokot Central Pokot north and west Pokot to the south, Samburu north to the south east, lake Turkana to the north east and Turkana central to the north.

Turkana south comprises of ten wards namely: Lokichar, Katilu, Kaputir, Kainik, and Kalapata which are in Turkana south district and Katilia, Napeitom, Kochodin, Lokori and Kapedo which are in Turkana east district.
